Today, an induction ceremony was held for the newest members of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society – Beta Omicron Zeta Chapter. The ceremony was held at the Palau Community College (PCC) Assembly Hall. Present at the ceremony to witness the induction of honor society’s newest members were PCC Dean of Academic Affairs Robert Ramarui, Dean of Students Daniel Sherman, and a number of PCC school officials. The audience was also full of proud family members and supportive friends.
A total of twenty-two students were inducted into the honor society: Allyn Kikuharu, Ayela D. Filibert, Binny Ueki, Ewing M. Rudimch, Derrick K. Alfonso, Dilmeang Ishim, Dizzette U. Dolmers, Happy Y. Fritz, Isabel-Emma Goodall, Jed M. Gibson, Keisha V. Willis, Kylie S. Kazuyuki, Masami Andreas, Mayleen Rdechor, Melvira K. Kazuma, Morton Sawaichi, Nancy M. Idesemang, Mariah B. Okada, Sheen R. Techur, Sheila J. Pedro, Sngebard Melairei, and Valerie Williams.
The honor society also swore-in new officers: Antoni Soalablai (President), Masami Andreas (Vice President), Ewing M. Rudimch (Secretary), and Emily Loughlin (Treasurer).
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is an international honor society for two-year colleges. It recognizes the academic achievements of its members and provides opportunities for individual growth and development.
