JUVENILE JUSTICE

This introductory course provides students with a broad historical and theoretical background of the structures and functions of agencies and institutions which make up the juvenile justice system. Students are introduced to the principles and procedures of arrest, detention, adjudication, treatment and placement of the juvenile offender.
