The Endowment Fund is a critical component of the Palau Community College (PCC) Fifteen-Year Institutional Master Plan (2024-2039) . The long-term goal is to raise $30,000,000 by 2039. Palau Community College will ensure that Palau’s only institution of higher learning continues to provide post-secondary education and career & technical training that meets the needs of Palau as well as the Micronesian region.

The Palau National Government, in support of the PCC Endowment Fund, enacted RPPL 4-36 stating that financial contributions to PCC by individual employees are refundable up to 10% of the taxes paid by the employee in that tax year. This has enabled the College to garner the support of hundreds of employees in the public and private sector to help build the endowment fund.

In 1997, the Republic of Palau National Congress legislated a sum of $100,000 to launch the fund. Since its inception, the PCC Endowment Fund has reached over $10 million in total.

Over a hundred-fifty PCC employees support the Endowment Fund by contributing a certain amount on a bi-weekly basis. Over 500 employees of the Palau National Government, as well as semi-government and private organizations, are also bi-weekly contributors to the PCC Endowment Fund.

Palau Community College is grateful for each measure of support from each and every one of our Endowment Fund donors. However, the college realizes that additional support and a greater number of contributors are necessary in order to reach the ultimate long-term goal of thirty-million dollars ($30,000,000).
