On Friday, March 06, 2015 a Japanese Cultural Fair was hosted at the Palau Community College (PCC) Cafeteria. The fair featured stage performances and booths that represented different aspects of the Japanese culture. Students from the Ritsumeikan High School in Japan and their chaperones organized the event.

The Japanese Cultural Fair booths included interactive activities such as Kanji name writing and Bon Odori dancing which is often performed during the Bon Festival, a Japanese Buddhist festival that honors the spirits of their ancestors. Skits performed by the Ritsumeikan students included a fashion show that showcased the traditional uniforms of Japanese students.

PCC students as well as interested members of the community were present at the fair.
