On the evening of November 2, 2018 Palau Community College, Ministry of Health, and Palau Red Cross Society were on hand to congratulate nine (9) trainees from Ngatpang State who completed one week of Care-Giver Training. Dr. Sylvia Osarch the lead instructor commended the participants for their commitment and support throughout the entire week and reminded them to apply what they have learned to support and care for the elders. PCC Dean of Continuing Education Jefferson Thomas closing remarks emphasized the need of this training to continue to be offered to assist elderly and bedridden. On hand to confer certificate of completion were PCC Dean of Continuing Education Jefferson Thomas and Speaker of Ngatpang State Mr. Edwin Arurang. Care-Giver participants were Alfonso Ngirngotel, Bingham Mers Tarkong, Constantino Ngiraked, Derbei Blodak, Doris Osilek, Ening Rebluud, Francesca Otong, Huzie Orak, and Rosang Osilek. Also present were training instructors Dr. Sylvia Osarch and Amos Solomon. The Care-Giver Training continues to be offered. The next training scheduled from November 9 – 11, 2018 at Palau Community College Continuing Education training room.
