On March 21, 2019 an induction ceremony was held for the newest members of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society – Beta Omicron Zeta Chapter. The ceremony was held at the Palau Community College (PCC) Assembly Hall. Present at the ceremony to witness the induction of honor society’s newest members were PCC President Dr. Patrick U. Tellei, Dean of Academic Affairs Robert Ramarui, Dean of Students Sherman Daniel, and a number of PCC officials. The audience was also full of proud family members and supportive friends. President Tellei welcomed everyone and extended special recognition of Associate Justice of the Appellate Court John K. Rechucher’s presence. He further reiterated the importance of PTK-BOZ chapter and how this organization is widely known organization in U.S. community colleges. A total of nine (9) students were inducted into the honor society: Bradley R. Augustine, McQuinnley F. Mesengei, Mereuir Rechucher, Aleinah K. Sakuma, Joyra Shmull Sam, Beverly N. Shay, Bianca S. Temol, Jeyda B. Titiml, and Macaulay K. Uehara.
