On November 13, 2018 Palau Community College Continuing Education in partnership with Republic of China – Taiwan conducted a three-day Basic Conversational Mandanrin class free of charge to over 30 participants from local hotel industry and interested individuals in the community.
PCC language instructor Ms. Shu Yun Tsai from ROC Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (Taiwan ICDF) conducted the training held at Palau Tourism and Hospitality School of Excellence (PTHSE).
The three-day training focused on daily mandarin conversation in a hotel setting. Trainees also learned acceptable pronounciation, useful vocabularies, self introduction, and appropriate greeting usage in daily contacts.
