On Thursday, August 14, 2014 Palau Community College (PCC) held its first convocation.  The college staff and faculty participated in the all-day event held at the PCC Cafeteria.  During the convocation, each department/division of the college gave introductory presentations.  Each presentation highlighted the mission statements, objectives, and goals of the departments.

The convocation began with remarks from PCC President Dr. Patrick U. Tellei.  President Tellei’s opening presentation was about the history and purpose of Palau Community College.  He was followed by a presentation that introduced all the college departments and personnel.

The PCC Convocation will become an annual meeting of all college staff and faculty.  During the meeting, personnel of the college will become aware of the goals or projects of the different departments and divisions.  The convocation is also an opportunity to recognized the achievements of the college.
