The Australian Ambassador to the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), and the Republic of Palau visited the campus of Palau Community College (PCC) on Thursday, January 29, 2015. His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Terry Beven met with PCC President Dr. Patrick U. Tellei and the PCC leadership team.
During their meeting, they discussed the progress of the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Program and the Mathematics Education Development that were supported by the Australia Agency for International Development (AusAID) through the Pacific Technical Assistance Mechanism (PACTAM). They also discussed the implementation of the next phase of the Education Development Program in the area of science. In addition, Ambassador Dr. Beven disclosed that AusAID has been folded and merged with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
PCC would like to thank Ambassador Dr. Beven for taking the time out of his busy schedule to visit Palau Community College.
