On Friday, May 08, 2015 the Associated Students of Palau Community College (ASPCC) hosted its annual International Night in celebration of the end of the school year. The event featured performances that were coordinated and performed by the students of the college showcasing the talents of each island nation of Micronesia. The theme for the evening’s event was “Preserving Our Culture Through Arts.”
The event opened with welcoming remarks and a prayer from ASPCC President Benigno S. Sablan followed by the International Night Fashion Show. PCC students modeled the different traditional wear and modern attire of the different island groups. Each island group then performed a number of dances that ranged from traditional to contemporary.
A band was present to perform during the breaks and the audience members were entered in a raffle drawing. ASPCC would like to thank all the students who participated in the evening’s event as well as the individuals who showed up to enjoy the performances!
